Circuits R Us  

Claire Boyd Circuits R Us - Old School Room, Monday, 10 am - 11 am and 11 am - 12 noon.  Become fitter or lose weight, over 50 or new to exercise.  Circuits R Us classes are fun, friendly and encouraging, aimed at over 50's or beginners to exercise but all fitness levels and adult ages are welcome.  The classes are based on a circuit format that can be done at your own pace and alternatives can be given if you are unable to perform that exercise.  Just turn up for a free taster session.  £4 per session or 6 sessions for £18.  Personal training £25 per hour.

Nikky White Kangoo Jumps - Old School Room, Thursday 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm.  Learn Kangoo Jumps with the first qualified and licensed instructor for Cornwall. A safe, energetic, fun and motivating aerobic program taught to music, for all ages and fitness levels.  Movement is designed to focus on core stability, ensuring a balanced workout. Basic moves are easy to follow and can be performed with growing complexity and intensity, as you progress. This program suits a broad range of class attendees regardless of fitness level, using Kangoo Jumps rebound shoes which act as a shock absorber to reduce impact and maximize effort, while preventing damaging impact to the joints.  The rebound shoes generate a trampoline-like feeling of weightlessness that not only increases the Fun-Effect, but more importantly decreases joint stress.  Discover the wonders of rebounding!

Anita Tempest-Keeping Yin-Yang Balance Yoga - Old School Room, Friday 9.30 - 11.00 am.  Yoga translates as 'union'. Union of the body, mind and soul. Yoga is not just a form of exercise, yoga can be knowledge, balance, awareness, stillness, concentration, love and health.  Yoga can be a way of life. Yoga improves flexibility, core strength, digestion, joint mobilisation, organ function, balance, concentration, lung capacity and sleep, among other things.

Anita has recently moved to Cornwall from Salisbury where she taught up to 13 classes a week over 6 years, she specialises in creating a warm and calming environment that enables everyone to relax and enjoy the benefits of yoga. Over the years Anita has formed her own style of teaching that brings together her yoga and acupuncture knowledge. Her classes start off with breathing exercises (pranayama) and then moves into dynamic warming sequences including balance work (Yang) and then moves into slower, longer held, calming postures (Yin) and culminates in a deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra).

Try your 1st class for free! Then £60 for an 8 week class pass - this can be used at either class but must be used within 1 year of purchase Or £10 drop in.
