Bell Ringers

St Erth Allotments Association

St Erth Lights Committee
Organise various events during the year including the switching on of the lights, safari suppers, and the famous VINTAGE BIKE RIDE. See photos here and a video here. St Erth Feast Committee
Meetings first Wednesday each month organises fund raising events, including but not limited to the Good Friday Duck Race, for the young and the not-so-young of the village, and Scarecrow competition. Whist Drives (3rd Monday of month January to May, Oct, Nov, 2nd Monday December) 7.30 pm at the Star Inn. See more or message on Facebook.

Christian Meditation Group
The group meets every Tuesday at 27 Boscarnek, the home of Helen and Richard, from 7.30 p.m. All welcome - telephone 753628 for more details.

St Erth Handicraft Group
The group has meetings on Mondays from 1.30 to 4.00 p.m. at the Vestry Rooms, Fore Street. Please bring your own mug or cup!

St Erth Players
The St Erth Players were formed 40+ years ago, and have performed various genres of shows over the years. For the last decade or so, they have produced a play a year (comedy, farce, thriller, mystery and adventure) and donated profits to local organisations and charities.

St Erth Film Club

Enjoy a social Saturday evening, once a moth, watching popular films. Doors 7.00pm for 7.30pm. If possible, please buy your tickets online. Cash or Card will be accepted on the night. St Erth Nursery

St Erth Nursery adjacent to St Erth School, previously St Erth Childcare Centre, opened on the 30th October 2018. We are part of a partnership (The Barn Day Nursery) that offers childcare to the communities of St Ives, Carbis Bay, Hayle and St Erth.

Here at St Erth Nursery, we offer childcare for children aged 2 to school age. We have an enclosed outdoor area with access to the school playing field. We use a very child-centred approach and plan activities around children's interests that extend their learning and development. We also like to go on trips and outings and make use of the partnership's 8-seater and 17-seater minibuses to frequently explore whats on offer in the wider community. Parent and Toddler

We are a parent run group in St Erth, for babies, toddlers and their carers. Join us, in term time, Wednesdays 9.30-11 for play, snack, craft, book and a sing. A warm welcome awaits. Knit n’ Wit

St Erth Concert Band
The Band would like to be involved in any event that would enjoy having some live music. Under the capable baton of Becky Lovegrove our repertoire is varied and includes music from films, musicals, jazz standards, and popular music throughout the ages. Something for everyone to enjoy. Becky is a very experienced musician, teacher as well as a freelance violinist playing with some of the country’s best orchestras. St Erth Farmers Market
Every Saturday at the Methodist Hall 10.00 - 12.00 noon - Local produce, cakes, flowers, crafts, plants, curries, cards, bread & home cooking, etc. Refreshments provided by St Erth organisations on rotation. Contact Marilyn Sheffield 757030

St Erth Twinning Association
This year it is our turn to visit our friends in Ploulec’h, in April to stay with families. Next year we reciprocate and act as hosts. New members always welcome. Look in the Cornishman for details of our meetings and fund raising events.

The Rainbow Youth Club
The Rainbow Youth Group is for 8 to 13 year old children and is held in the St Erth Methodist Chapel Hall most Fridays from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm during school term time; activities include cooking, craft and games. Heyl St Piran Singers

Sing Socialise and Find Friendship. We are an established ladies choir based in Hayle in West Cornwall. We enjoy singing a wide variety of music from classical, to madrigals and to pop music ranging from the 1960’s to the present. Messy Church

This is free event held on the last Sunday of each month for all the family with fun, craft, games, short worship and food from 4-6 pm. It is especially designed to help young families who want to belong to their local Church but cannot cope with the traditional Sunday morning Church services.
