Walk on the Wildside
A 42.5 mile sponsored walk of the West Cornwall coastal path, taking place over two days, for Meningitis Research Foundation on behalf of Richard, Jenna and Zachary. The walkers led by Kevin (Mountaineering Leader) on Friday July 5 will sleep under the stars tonight until first light. They aim to finish in Penzance Harbour car park before dark tomorrow, Saturday July 6. Sponsorship forms are available from the Star Inn and the village shop.
Near the end of day 1. Even with two dodgy knees and blisters, Debs spirits are still high and so are those of Pip, Lauren and Kevin. They were Joined near Botallack by Darren and Alfie. Pictures at Carn Gloose and Cot Valley below left.
Day 2 and still some distance to go but look at the pictures and see - goal reached at 5.10 pm on Saturday.
